The MDFF recognizes the physical, emotional, and financial burden put on individuals with MD and their families. The MDFF serves as an advocate. In addition to helping clients with medical issues, staff is also available to provide guidance in the area of disability rights, whether it will be in giving advice on an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or referring State and Federal benefit programs.
