Morty’s Comedy Joint supports Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation in Spring 2012
Join us for a night of laughter, friends, and a good cause
Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (MDFF) has worked with Morty’s Comedy Joint to organize a fun fundraiser night to benefit MDFF. Morty’s is donating $10 for each ticket sold to MDFF. The event, featuring Dylan Brody, is Friday, April 6th at 8 p.m. Dylan Brody is an award winning playwright, humorist and thrice published author and a regular contributor to The Huffington Post. In recent years, he has emerged as a radio raconteur, who’s witty and profound tales of his journey through life are unique, yet utterly recognizable to everyone, earning him a reputation as one of America’s fastest rising storytellers. All 280 seats in Morty’s Comedy Joint offer clean lines of vision, unobstructed by beams, poles or other structures. Morty's employs a state-of-the-art audio-visual system, ensuring appropriate acoustics and lighting. In addition, the entire building is smoke free.
Founded in 1958, the MDFF has served many families affected by one of more than 40 neuromuscular diseases associated with Muscular Dystrophy. MDFF provides support for children and adults affected by the diseases through clinic services, recreational activities, and financial assistance with adaptive equipment to enable patients and their family members to focus on ability not disability. MDFF strives to provide assistance to clients with their daily needs rather than fund research for a cure. MDFF is not affiliated with Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) nor the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon. Most of our funds are from individual donors, corporate sponsors, special fundraiser events and grants.

MDFF has received CVS Caremark Conmmunity Grant, $1500 in July 2012. The grant will be used to fund our various programs to serve disabled children in Indiana.
