More About Erin
Erin’s mother had limb girdle muscular dystrophy and some of her extended family members have been very involved in MDFF over the years. This connection led her to begin volunteering at the 2015 holiday party.
Erin was moved to tears by all of the good the organization was doing. That’s when she knew she wanted to continue to make a difference in the muscular dystrophy community.
This eventually led to her hire as the executive director in 2019.
Erin is married to her husband, Alex, and they have two young children. When she isn’t chasing the two munchkins around the house, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
She loves relaxing with a glass of red wine and a plate of sushi whenever she can.
“It only took volunteering at one event to know that I wanted to be a long-term part of MDFF’s mission and to make a difference to these families.”
