More About Kara
Kara is passionate about improving the lives of families in the community. As someone who was a caregiver for her mom, she can relate to and desires to offer support to families caring for a loved one.
When Kara was a junior in college, her mom was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Kara’s family became caregivers and had to learn to do almost everything for her mother. This experience changed how Kara wanted to care for others going through experiences like her family. She knows first-hand the physical, mental, and emotional toll caregiving can have on a family. Kara wants to help others create wonderful memories together.
“I am inspired every day by my mom. My goal is to live my life like she lived hers. She was an amazing woman who made everyone she encountered instantly feel loved. She inspired me to love and care for everyone around me and to always do my best to improve their lives.”
