More About Mindy
Mindy has been married for 25 years and is so proud of her two sons, one of whom lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
As his full-time caregiver, Mindy knows firsthand how important the work of MDFF is to families in Indiana. This personal connection compelled her to join the foundation.
When she isn’t advocating for individuals with MD and their families, Mindy might be found getting her hands dirty in the garden or curled up with a good book. She is particularly fond of fiction and autobiographies.
She also loves travel and has fond memories of a trip to Everest Base Camp to raise money for Duchenne research.
Mindy stays active on her bike and enjoys catching a good film with a friend.
“I realize firsthand how important the work we do is to families in Indiana. I wish every state had a MDFF to assist families living with muscular dystrophy.”
