10:00 a.m. –2:00 p.m. EST

In The Wellington Banquet & Conference Center(a new venue this year), our community gathered to learn about muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular diseases; make connections with vendors and organizations in the community; and meet and catch-up with other families affected by muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular diseases.

We hosted industry-leading speakers via three different panels to provide education and information to our attendees.  Our Health & Research panel covered clinical trials, treatment, medicine, and gene therapies. Our Finance & Planning panel discussed conquering the financial challenges and planning for the future. The Thriving panel provided insight into living with a disability.

Attendees said they learned a lot of valuable information and enjoyed connecting with people, organizations in Indiana, and the disability community. This was meant to be an open house event, but nearly all the attendees stayed for the entire duration. We are excited to be able to offer this full day of advocacy and education to our community!
