A Gentle Soul and a Family of Givers
Thomas Miller is a gentle and caring soul. He is proud to be the first person in his family to have graduated high school and also has college aspirations. He needed a van to help make this happen. He was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy when he was only 1 year old.
Stephanie adopted Thomas, her nephew, in 1997, when his mother was no longer able to care for him. She also had a biological son who passed away from MD. She worked and took care of Thomas, his sister, and her 2 girls.
Al, Stephanie’s husband, is a Vietnam veteran who says Stephanie and Thomas gave him purpose again. He says some men might have run but, he found comfort and purpose with his amazing new family.
