A Young Man on the Move

Aaron Hodge volunteers at the local humane society and loves video games. He is a Hamilton Southeastern Alumni. He was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

He was so thankful that his van allowed him to continue to play his favorite sport, power soccer. Power soccer is the first competitive team sport to be designed for play in a power wheelchair.

The ability to transport his power chair also increased his independence significantly. The family says it is a challenge navigating his teen years as other kids get more independent, but the van has really helped to lessen this gap.
